ODI Global: Board Member Now, Chair From October 2026

ODI Global’s profile page states that Mark Malloch-Brown is an ODI Global Board Member and “will become Chair of the Board from 1 October 2026.” The organization’s announcement of that chair appointment records that he has been a member of the board of trustees since July 2025 and will succeed Suma Chakrabarti. The UK Charity Commission trustee list for ODI Global (charity 228248) names Lord George Mark Malloch-Brown as a trustee appointed 11 July 2025.

ODI’s profile also states he is a Visiting Professor in Practice at the London School of Economics and “is currently on leave from the British House of Lords.” The official Parliament Members API, accessed 26 August 2026, lists leave-of-absence status from 30 July 2024. That is the current public-office status as last checked. It can change.
